Event Notes: Pacific women climate activists will share their key urgency and high ambition messages and strategies with COP23 and the world by ii) sharing information on transformative and locally-led strategies that women and Pacific small island communities are using to deal with our quickly changing, complex and precious oceanic region, and iii) sharing calls for a just, regenerative and ecologically sound planet.   This session is convened by DIVA for Equality, Pacific Partnerships on Gender, Climate Change and Sustainable Development (PPGCCSD) and PICAN partners, with the UNFCCC Women & Gender Constituency and representation from diverse Pacific small island women delegates. It will be held in the Fiji Pavilion, in the Bonn Zone at UNFCCC COP23, in Bonn, Germany.
