The Ocean Pathway Partnership will bring together existing coalitions, alliances, parties and partners engaged in ensuring that the role of the ocean and climate change receives the appropriate recognition and engagement in the UNFCC process by 2020. This is a high level event that builds up on the COP23 President announcement at opening and that will feature heads of states, ministers and prominent representatives of various alliances and partners.
The event will allow Parties and partners to confirm commitment to the Ocean Pathway by signing a formal communication.

This will be followed by
a panel with H.E. President of Palau, H.E. President of RMI, Hon PM Tuvalu, Hon DPM Samoa, Norway, Chile.
will be a reception at the Fiji Pavilion to celebrate the launch and the fortnight of events at the Pavilion: 6 - 8pm.
