Pacific Youth Dialogue on Climate Change: Live Questions

Event Notes: ePOP: Young climate and environment reporters, a science / society / media project for citizen engagement to cope with climate change. Youth representatives from New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, who are our Climate and Environment Pacific Youth Ambassadors, will speak for an hour to representatives of States, international institutions, major NGOs, scientific organizations and international media, on the actions undertaken or to be undertaken to preserve island environments from the impacts of climate change. Actors of intergenerational dialogue in Pacific islands, these spokespersons of citizens’ observation, information and discussion network on climate and environmental changes in island territories, named e-POP, will dialogue with officials in charge of policies to combat the impacts of climate change, adaptation or resilience strategies, the means employed and the innovations proposed to preserve the traditional ways of life and consumption, to combat the socio-economic inequalities generated by climate change in island environments. This very dynamic session will be punctuated by the small video reports realized by the ePOPers.
