• Context: Paris decision 57 ask SBSTA to develop new accounting modalities for climate finance. Based on various national analysis this session aim to provide input to this work
• Aim: Fair and objective practices for climate finance accounting will resolve the discussion between donor countries claiming they have provided and recipient countries claiming they have not received  
• Central questions: Session identifies some current accounting practices that SBSTA could consider to include in the new accounting modalities being developed
