Event Notes: Launch of the WBG/UNEP Roadmap for Sustainable Finance and discussion of the role that the financial sector is to play in climate finance and the activities that the WBG and UNEP are undertaking to support this process. The event will emphasize in particular the role of the private financial sector in this process through initiatives to (a) increasing capital flows towards climate finance through the development of new business models and products; (b) embedding environmental risks into its overall financial risks management processes; and (c) enhancing disclosure of climate risks and impacts.
